The Long Haul Trucker was designed in all aspects to go the distance in relative comfort, and to be able to haul a bunch of stuff. Its low bottom bracket and long chainstays provide comfort and stability. Surly gave it ample tire clearance for larger tires (larger tires soak up a lot of road static) with room for fenders. The frame’s tubing is thicker-walled and larger-diameter than standard road and sport-touring frames, and this pre-tunes it for the weight of cargo. And it’s got all the braze-ons, from rack mounts to water bottle cage bosses to spare spoke holders. Like all their frames, it’s made of CroMoly steel. You’ll probably never need to have the frame repaired, but if you do you’re more likely to find someone who can weld steel than someone who can weld titanium or aluminum. Repair carbon fiber in the middle of Mongolia? Good luck with that. The fork has two sets of eyelets on the dropouts as well as at proper mid-blade height, and bosses built into the side of the crown. All this makes the fork compatible with most types of racks, and provides options how you can mount racks and carry your stuff. Surly chose components that balance technical ability, durability, and value. The 3 x 10-speed Shimano Deore/XT drivetrain with Microshift bar-end shifters works well on a fully loaded tourer, will last you a while, and won’t shoot holes in your wallet. Add whatever else you need, like racks and fenders. Go somewhere. Do something. Ride a Long Haul Trucker.
Your search for comfort on the road is over. The Quest's Reynolds steel frame and relaxed geometry makes long days in the saddle a joy to experience, and the monocoque fork aids in reducing unwanted vibrations while giving you precise feedback at speed. Tubeless-compatible rims paired to Vittoria Zaffiro 700 x 28c tires track with stability over varied surfaces, and the Jamis adjustable threadless system allows you to dial-in the perfect bar height to match the day's outing. A Shimano 27-speed STI drivetrain provides tremendous gearing to keep you fresher longer, and Tektro dual-pivot caliper brakes instill confidence when braking. A Ritchey Comp Logic handlebar and a Selle Royal Seta S1 saddle complete this value-packed ride.
The Renegade is ready for any adventure, no matter which Renegade you ride. The long and tall adventure geometry is designed specifically to ride comfortably all day on the road or in harsh conditions off-road. With disc brakes and the ability to mount multiple tire sizes, these bikes are ready to go just about anywhere. All you need is the desire to push, pedal and explore.

When the road turns to gravel and gravel turns to dirt, you need a bike that will handle it all. Look no further than the Renegade Expat. Jamis took a quality Reynolds 520 Chromoly frame, paired it with a full carbon fork, and added a solid component spec to create this capable and reliable bike. It features a Shimano Tiagra 2 x 10 drivetrain for solid shifting, and TRP Spyre mechanical disk brakes for plenty of stopping power. Jamis carefully considered each component for the varied surfaces this bike is intended for – flanged drop bars offer better steering control, Donnelly X'PLOR tires have just the right amount of tread, and a comfy Selle Royal Asphalt saddle helps smooth out the bumps.
